Where are the MSE log files on Windows XP, please?

I can't find 'em!

Thanks

Take a look at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Microsoft Antimalware\Support (or similar, I don't have a Windows XP PC at hand).
You'll have to show hidden files and folders in Windows Explorer to see it.
Best wishes,
Hans

The only log files I can find that have anything to do with MSE are install logs and they are in:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Microsoft Security Client

Does that help?

Tip, if running MSE and using CCleaner, untick it or logs will be deleted.

Y'all might want to have a read of this: MSE should have a scan log history - Microsoft Answers

Thanks for the pointer, BigAl
I looked at the folder Hans identified but nothing made a lot of sense. (not unusual for me).
I was hoping there would be something like the Malwarebytes log file - which does contain pretty much everything asked for by the original poster at the link you provided.

I do find it frustrating not knowing how long MSE takes to run (I don't sit and watch it!) and how many files get checked.
Oh well, never mind.
Thanks
