Hello.
MSE has been requesting that I perform a scan every few days recently but today it's requested a scan twice! The scheduled scan is for 2am on Sunday but it used to request a scan about once a week or so.
Is it just me or has anyone else noticed this behaviour? Andy.

Do you run a program such as CCleaner? If you let it clean MS AntiMalware (=MSE) history, this may make MSE "forget" that a scan has been run recently.
Clearing the MS AntiMalware check box should fix the problem.

@Hans Good spot!
BTW I installed Piriform Defraggler. It recognised a lot of fragmentation which the Vista version seemed unable to recognise
I believe I have notice an improvement in performance but, being Vista, I'm probably resigned to always being bogged down by hundreds (thousands!) of unnecessary files and folders.
