Update: Thunderbird 68.1.1 released

A bit late: another update that is only available by direct download, not as an automatic update to Thunderbird 60 or earlier. See Version 68.1.1, first offered to channel users on September 25, 2019

Thanks, Hans. I checked the current version of my installation and was offered an update to 68.1.1. I believe the direct downloads are for the 64 bit version. I have the 32 bit version.

Could be, although I cannot be sure. What I have now after today's update is:

I do know that when I installed the update referenced in this post or this one, I ended up with a 64-bit versions installed, co-existing with my original 32-bit version. I uninstalled the 64 bit version because it was a completely new install that required a complete new set-up and would have required the transfer of all mail folders and files.

@BobH: yes, that is correct. Version 68.1.1 won't be offered to users of version 60 or below, you can only get it by downloading it from Mozilla.
Version 68.2, which will be released sometime in the future, will be offered to users of version 60 and below.

Thunderbird version 68.1.2 is only offered as direct download from thunderbird.net and not as upgrade from Thunderbird version 60 or earlier. A future version 68.2 will provide updates from earlier versions.
