How Do I Get into Edit Mode

I use Fastmail for my email. I have received an email message that I need to edit and forward on to other people. When I'm reading that message I would like to change it to Edit mode and make some corrections and send it on to others. But I have totally forgotten how to get that message into edit mode so I can make the needed changes.

You should be able to edit a message when you click Reply or Forward.
Otherwise: Edit as New for messages
