Gmail Accounts

Post by BobH »

I have established a number of gmail accounts over the years. In having one PC die and establishing my accounts on another and then another, I've managed to lose track of some of the accounts. I would like to discover all the accounts that I lost track of so that I can establish them again on the new systems.

I might be mistaken, but I think that Google somehow manages to group gmail accounts under a control or main account. I can log into gmail. I've done so and deleted all the mail that was appearing there. Is there any way to display all the gmail addresses associated with a google account?

I hope the question makes sense.

One Google account = one Gmail address. If you have multiple Gmail addresses, each is associated with a different Google account.
But it is possible to make one Google/Gmail account retrieve messages from other accounts:
- Cick the Settings button (the gear wheel icon).
- Click 'See all settings'.
- Activate the 'Accounts and Import' tab.
- In the 'Check other accounts' section. click 'Add another account'.
Best wishes,
Hans

Thanks, Hans.

My recollection was wrong. I thought that all gmail addresses were aggregated under one google account. I inferred that because I could see email addressed to various gmail addresses under the google account I pulled up.
