I have heard of a couple of instances where if a user sets his default font for composing messages in Outlook, the recipient cannot see the message. For example, if the sender uses blue background, then his font color will come out while. If the recipient has a white background, then depending on his settings, the font may not automatically adjust to back and he will not see anything. Is this is a known problem?
A few years ago I remember hearing a few people who said that my email messages appeared blank. That was when I used blue back auto color font.

Re: Set default font color to auto
The easiest solution is not to use a colored background...
You can set the default font in the Options dialog.
You can set the default font in the Options dialog.

Re: Set default font color to auto
I use Blue background, white text in Word 2003 and this carries over to Outlook as Word is set as my default editor. Perhaps I should set a different program. I would consider WordPad, but it doesn't appear to have any spellcheck built in.

I don't think you can set WordPad as e-mail editor. You can choose between Word and Outlook's own built-in editor.
