Birthdays re-creation

I'm running Office 2003 on a W7 operating system. Outlook has been synchronised with my mobile phone (an HTC Hero) however, despite setting the sync option to a one way passge of data from PC to mobile, a lot of birthdays have been duplicated in Outlook. The easiest course of action is to Look for "Birthday" and then delete them all. For some of those Birthdays are on the wrong date too. Having deleted the birthdays and I close Outlook. Then re-open it. Here's the question then: will the correct birthdays be re-created from their contacts?

I don't think they will be re-created automatically, you'd probably have to edit then save each contact.

Thanks Hans, I'll try it anyway as I have a backup from last night. I'll post back the results

You were right Hans, the birthdays are not re-created. Ah well. Restore a backup so all is well. Worth a flip though.
