auto complete deletes auto contacts after a couple of days

hi we have someone who uses outlook 2010 daily and it used to bring the contact up when she starts typing in the to field but for some reason it deltes them after a couple of days even though no settings have been changed

I've seen something similar with Outlook 2007, entries on the autocomplete disappear. I have no definitive fix but I find that things tend to last longer in my autocomplete list if I add an email address to my message by clicking on 'To...', then in the Contacts dialog that pops-up, selecting the required address and clicking on the 'To ->' button at the bottom to populate the field and finally clicking on OK to return to the message.
