My company changed its name and I can find no global update or Find/Replace to update all the records!
Even MS Outlook help pointed to a 3rd party add-in for solution. sheesh!
What with all the added, unused funtionality in Word & Excel, it seems ludicris that there is no easy way to update a set of records.
Any ideas, anyone?
Thanks,
Cellmate

Re: Outlook 2007 Company changed names: find/replace?
What exactly do you want to replace? I presume you don't want to rewrite history by changing the company name in all old e-mail messages retroactively...

Re: Outlook 2007 Company changed names: find/replace?
Oops. I neant to more specific, but left out a key word: Contacts!
Many contacts, listed by company, many with my companys name, various branches, etc.
I'd like to change the company name field in the contact list from A to B.
(And, typical of me, I posted my question minutes before leaving work for the day and didn't get back to it til this morning...)
thanks,
Cellmate

Thanks, Hans! That looks perfect.
And, I gotta say I'm awestruck at the way you do this: answer so many varied questions, so fast. it's amazing!
I am aware of the Magicians Creed of "never reveal how the trick is done" and that "the secret of genious is never revealing your sources" but I have to wonder just how you can do this!

He didn't mention the other secrets, about how Lounge mythology has it that he has 6 fingers on each hand and/or the V in his username refers to the fact there are five of him.
