Filter a calendar

Post by MelanieB »

Is there a way to filter a calendar to show only appointments from a person?

One of our departments has a shared calendar where all employees post their leave time (they send an appointment from their calendar and invite the shared calendar).

The manager wants to be able to filter the calendar so he can see when Joe Smith is on leave or Adam Jones, etc.

We currently use Outlook 2003, but are upgrading to Outlook 2010 in the next 4 months, so if it's something we can do in 2010 but not 2003, that's ok.

Ideas?

This screenshot is from Outlook 2007:

When I click Filter... in Customize View, I can filter on the "meeting organizer", i.e. the creator of the appointment.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
Best wishes,
Hans

How'd you get to Customize View?

Outlook 2007 still uses the menu/toolbar interface; Outlook 2010 has adopted the ribbon interface.
