Contact Problems Outlook 2003

Post by Don Wells »

Let us say that I have the Calendar exposed in Outlook. Clicking the Contacts button should cause the Contacts to be displayed. Although the Navigation panel switches to Contacts the main panel does not.

Right clicking the Contacts button and selecting "Open in New Window" does work however.

Can someone suggest what might be going on? Detect and Repair did not change the situation. In the accompanying screenshot the active window is the result of selecting the "Open in New Window" option; the partially hidden window is the result of just clicking the Contacts button.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

What happens if you press Ctrl+3 in the main window?
Best wishes,

I'd create a new profile in the Mail control panel and point it to your existing .pst file(s).
Best wishes,
Hans

You have no idea of the fun I had attempting to get the new profile to operate. Finally in disgust I deleted the new profile to discover that the original problem has been rectified,

Hans; as always. Thank you. :thankyou:
