Searching all mail items in Outlook 2016

Post by jmt356 »

In Outlook 2010, after running a search, Outlook would display an option to "Try searching again in all Mail items." Was this option removed in Outlook 2016? Is the user now required to individually search in every folder of every OST and PST file to find an item?

This may depend on which folder you have selected when you start the search. I think that it behaves differently if you have your primary inbox folder selected.

You can always use the dropdown to the right of the search box to specify where you want to search:

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
