Office 365 - Outlook 2016 View

Office 365 - Outlook 2016 View

Please see the first attachment where to view shows 3 panes, the Folder Navigation, pane to read the emails, and the “To Do – Calendar pane on the extreme right of the screen. This is how I want my Outlook to be. Seems lately, even though I set this view on the View Tab it changes after I do other tasks like looking up a Contact. It changes to what you see in the second attachment.

I have chosen the option “Apply Current View To Other Folders” on the View tab under Change View and that does no good. Is there a way to stop Outlook from changing the view and always remembering and returning the view I want as shown in the first attachment?

Thanks

Try the following:

Quit Outlook.
Press Windows key+R to activate the Run window.
Type

outlook /cleanviews

Press Enter or click OK.
Outlook will start with all custom view settings removed.
Quit and restart Outlook.
Set the view the way you want, including the To-Do bar.
Hopefully, Outlook will remember the settings now.
Best wishes,
Hans

Thanks I did see that in the same article where I tried the other thing I did. I guess I may have to give it a try.

Thanks
