Outlook 2016 customization

Post by dasadler »

When an email is opened in OL 2016, it displays the header info (from:, etc) in a very light font... difficult to see.

Is there a way to configure Outlook 2016 to make the from: information darker and easier to read?

Post a screen shot, as I have no problem reading the header.
It appears on mine to be the same as the message in the reading pane.

Glad to. I would like to have it display with the same dark font as the body of the message.

Does anyone know how I can modify this view to provide a darker font in the header?

As far as I know, there is no way to change this (except by switching to a High Contrast setting in Windows, but that would affect ALL applications).
Best wishes,
Hans

Isn't email displayed in a form of some type? If so, can't forms be modified?

It is possible to customize the form used for new items, such as a new email message, a new appointment etc. I don't think we can customize the form used for incoming messages. But I'm not an expert on this, perhaps someone will prove me wrong.
Best wishes,
Hans
