I am having a challenge seeing the "Show" group in the Outlook ribbon when the email comes back to me. I looked in the "options" setting to view those commands not in the ribbon but the "Show" is not listed. I understand it is suppose to be visible when you open the email reply to your voting request.
Any ideas?

Re: Voting Button
There should be an information button below the recipient in the reply that you receive:
(I sent a reply to myself as test, hence the same name as sender and recipient)
Click the info button, then select "View voting responses".
This will open a copy of the message with a list of the responses. This message has a Show group in the Message tab that lets you switch between the message and the tracking results.

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Re: Voting Button
Hans,
I used the voting button to approve or reject. When the reply comes back to me all I see in the subject line is "Approve: Subject line of email".
Could it be the individual responding is not using HTML?

Re: Voting Button
Hi John,
Some detail I picked up from reading posts on this:
- Voting buttons can be affected if not using HTML or RTF.
- They are an Exchange feature and would only work within an Exchange server environment.
- They can also be affected by spam filters and other settings.

Re: Voting Button
John,
Since the subject now mentions approve, I assume that the recipient clicked Approve. I don't know why you don't see the info button.
I tested voting buttons on my non-Exchange ISP e-mail account; they worked correctly.

Re: Voting Button
Hans,
I tested both HTML and Plain Text messages and both work with the voting button option set to "approve/reject". I'll have to investigate on the recipient side. Rudi may be on to things.
