Default font for Outlook 2016 Notes - not contacts

Is there a way to set the font for Outlook Notes? I can change the row, column, and preview fonts but not the default font for when I actually open a note or view it in the reading pane.

Alas, no. It used to be possible in Outlook 2010 and before. In its infinite wisdom, Microsoft decided to remove this capability in recent versions...
