Distribution list including cc and bcc

We used to have GroupWise and got spoiled. One of the things we used to be able to do in GW was create a group (distribution list) and have some of the names designated in the cc: and bcc: fields so those fields were populated when we used the distribution list.

I can't seem to figure out how to do that in Outlook 2003. It seems we have to create a separate distrubution list for the cc and bcc fields.

Anyone have a better way of doing this?

I also use separate CC and BCC distribution lists. If there is a way to do this automatically I would love to hear about it.

Outlook doesn't offer this capability - a distribution list doesn't store the type of recipient. So you'll have to use separate distribution lists for To, Cc and Bcc.

Nearest thing that comes to mind is to store everyone in the Dist List, and when you add it to the TO: field in a message, click on it to explode it to display individual list members, then cut and paste the CCs and BCCs to respective recipient status.

One possible option is to create a template email with the correct To:, CC: and BCC: entries.

Thanks Stuart, that is a more useful approach to my current use of signatures for standard emails.
