Changing Outlook's default appointment reminder

Is it possible to have Outlook play a song rather than the default reminder ring as the appointment reminder?

According to what I read on the web, the sound can be only of the *.wav format. So, if you take a song and convert it into *.wav, it will be possible. See changing the *.wav sound for reminders.

I converted an MP3 to a WAV file and selected it as the default in Outlook 2010. I will post back if it does not work.
