Can Outlook be Removed without Removing Office?

Post by BobH »

I realize that Outlook and Outlook Express are different programs. I don't have OE installed on my computer . . . at least I don't think I do. When I looked at the new Control Panel|Programs and Features to be certain that OE was not installed, I found a single entry for Microsoft Office 2010 and only the option of removing the entire thing.

I suppose one could do a Custom installation and leave it out, but I do not know that for certain.

Can anyone enlighten me?

I don't use Office and bought a standalone copy of Outlook 2010, so I can't test this one, but you might give a look-see. It's kinda old and don't know if it applies to 2010 version:

Here's another, a tad more recent: How to Uninstall Outlook from an Office Installation
