Chinese Conversion

Post by StuartR »

I don't remember seeing the Chinese Conversion section on the Ribbon before. This is on the Home tab of Outlook 2010.
Does anyone know where this came from?

It's present in my Outlook (see screenshot of Outlook Options > Customize Ribbon), but not visible in the ribbon.

Did you receive a message with Chinese characters?

I often receive messages with Chinese characters, but they haven't turned on this feature before.

I stumbled on how to remove this, more by luck than judgement. In WORD (not Outlook)
File > Options > Language >
Remove all the East Asian languages
Then restart Outlook
