While reading your post I checked Help > About and found that Fx was downloading the update.

Yes, clicking Help | About triggers a check for updates. If you don't do that FF will eventually download the update of its own accord and then the next time you restart FF the updat eis applied.BobH wrote:While reading your post I checked Help > About and found that Fx was downloading the update.
