Does this mean that Windows will become less bloated?

Internet Explorer took up only a small fraction of the total disk space used by Windows. You'll hardly notice the difference.

Unfortunately, I still need IE to run an old Bank report, but now running IE by clicking on the icon or via Start menu goes to Edge which does not allow me to run the report. Is there another way to run IE? Much as I hate it, I still need it.

Try the following:
- In Edge, go to edge://settings/defaultBrowser
- Select Allow from the drop-down 'Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer Mode.
- You can click Add to add your banking site to the list of sites to be opened in IE mode.
Best wishes,
Hans

Unfortunately, I also found that note & did that. It still does not work. I told the bank about 2 years ago to fix that code!!!
BTW, Edge only allows the site to be on the list for 30 days & then you have to remember to do it again. But, I guess that it doesn't matter since it doesn't really run IE. The Bank will incur my wrath tomorrow.

IE mode is an optional feature. Make sure it is enabled at Settings | Apps | Optional features.
