When I open Internet Explorer it is displayed with an extra toolbar showing and other undesirable characteristics -- see the attached picture.
How do I get it back to the basic appearance?
Thanks,
Bill

Yes, I'm having a problem getting my screen shot added to the message. Maybe you can clear up my confusion.

Screenshots should preferably be in .png or .png format, and should be at most 250 KB in size.
You can add a screenshot as an attachment in the Full Editor (not in Quick Reply).

Apart from that:
- Check Tools > Manage Add-ons (in IE) to see if there are add-ons you didn't expect. If so, disable them.
- Check Add/Remove Programs (in Windows) for an entry corresponding to the unwanted add-in, and uninstall it.
