Recover favorites in IE8

I accidentally dragged a submenu of urls from my Favorites bar. Is there any way to get these back? I don't know where these items might go (if anywhere) when they're removed by such a method.

Have you looked in the Recycle Bin?

Yep - can't see anything resembling the submenu name or any of its URL entries.

If you are using Windows 7 (all versions) or Vista (the Business, Ultimate, Enterprise version only) you should be able to use "Previous versions" to restore a folder or items.

Just as a matter of interest, where did you drag them to?

Does a search for files containing one of the missing URLs yield anything?
