IE F1 Key Virus Exposure

Post by BobH »

By way of disclaimer, I must report that I do not use IE except when forced to do so by Microsoft. This report came to me via email this morning and I read the Snopes report. If it can be trusted, all who use IE should be wary of requests to use the F1 key.

Thanks. Although it's unlikely that users will actually encounter this, it's good to be warned.
I can't think of a good reason for a website to convince me to press F1 anyway...
Best wishes,
Hans
