VB6 jet 4 and other apps....

I run a vb project whith a sql very complicated...
During this operation are started other apps.. similar a scan virus, a big copy ecc...
i have see the sql when aps started is very slow, but the vb code consider tath?
Is possible to make indipendent the vb apps based dother apps run?

If you want your application to run at maximum speed, run as few other applications on the same PC as possible.

It will also help if you have a PC with
- A fast multi-core processor.
- 64-bit Windows.
- Lots of memory.
