AResize.ocx VBGold

Post by D Willett »

Guys

I use a control from VBGold ( Aresize.ocx ) which resizes all controls on a form to the resolution of the user monitor.
The product is fantastic and does what it says on the tin.
Only problem with it is the Product Id will change if you take your project home to work on.
I do this from time to time via mem stick but always compile the edited project from my work pc which the control is registered to.
When the ID changes you have to contact VBGold via email to resend a valid serial.
This is where the problems start.

Getting them to respond is a nightmare !! I must have sent 10 mails since Monday and still no reply !!
Given that they are over the pond makes things even more difficult.

Again the product is very very useful but support is a shambles.
If any members know of an alternative with good support please let me know as I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Rant over.....................

:hairout:
Cheers ...

Dave.

Have you tried calling their telephone number +1 206-202-3515 ?
They're in the Seattle area (8 hours behind UK time), so you'd probably have to call them late in the afternoon or early in the evening (for you).
Best wishes,
Hans

Hi Hans

I've tried calling and get an answer phone but countless emails and they still don't respond.
Thanks for the concern, I'm sure I'll find a resolve.

Regards
Cheers ...

I think it's time to Google "VBGold autoresize cr". When a company no longer supports their product, and you have complied with all their restrictions, then other solutions may be required.
