Script to send keys

Post by NYIntensity »

I just bought a Microsoft Arc Keyboard, and it doesn't have a NumLock key. I want to use MouseKeys for when browsing on the TV, but in order to do so, I need to find a way to send Ctrl+LeftShift+NumLock. I wanted to then just set a keyboard shortcut to run a batch file that will call the script. If anyone can think of a more simple or more clever way, please let me know!

This Microsoft article says how to set the NumLock key to be On at power-on...

One article I saw seems to say there is a NumLock key, but it doesn't seem to do the usual links for other keys; I didn't understand it!

It's been a while since your post.....I just got the arc keyboard and I'm in the same situation you were\are in. How can I active the mouse keys without numlock? I found a couple as possibilities. Wondering if you found a solution.

Welcome to Eileen's Lounge! Although there are many Google search results about the lack of NumLock on the Microsoft Arc keyboard, there's surprisingly nothing (except this thread) about the impact on mouse keys...
Best wishes,
Hans
