Filter by selection button (2007)

Is it possible to add a button to a form for this function (or would custom menu be a better option)?

Filter by selection depends on the currently selected text within a text box bound to a field. But the moment you click a command button, the text isn't selected any more.
You could add the Filter by Selection button to the Quick Access Toolbar.
