Hi,
I've got a request to be able to send text messages from an Access DB. I've seen many posts that it is possible but some are quite old and there seem to be lots of opinions on how to set this up, so I figured I'd start here to be sure I'm pointed in the right direction.

Sadly most of the simple, public SMS gateways have disappeared over the years (at least that's the case in the UK) Most of those used to work by sending an email to the gateway such as 10digitphonenumber@smsgateway.com
Most current implementations are commercial and require you to have an account with a provider., and the interface is often a REST API (among others) - and each provider's REST API tends to differ ...

Just a random thought............has anyone tried sending texts from Access via MS Phonelink? Is is possible?
