I have a form that uses ctListView ocx, what the user wants is to do this in Access (2003).
What i want to do is to have a form that can:
Move the columns to a users requirements, as well as changing the width of columns.
If column is chosen to sort on that column.
Have a column be shown in different colours depending on oe of 3 conditions.
I have noticed a datasheet view of a form can move the columns, but can it do the others. If not a datasheet form then what?
Datasheet form

Re: Datasheet form
Sorting on a column is very easy, using the toolbar or right-click menu.
Would conditional formatting do what you want? It is the ONLY way to apply different colours in datasheet.

Re: Datasheet form
Sorting is not problem as you pointed out.
With conditional formatting, how can i specify that a particular column is dependant on another column's value?

Re: Datasheet form
I worked out how to do that, the problem was that it was a calculated control, i just put square brackets around the alias name.
