complete novice ...how do I or can I?
I have been given a Powerpoint presentation on a CD consisting of approx 14 slides depicting a period of time in a relatives life. I can open this in MS Office 2010 OK. What I would like to do is somehow extract or copy these slides as individual jpegs and upload them to Photobox or similar site to turn them into a personalised photo book. Can this be done and if so how do I go about it.

Select File > Save As.
In the Save as Type dropddown, select JPEG File Interchange Format (*.jpg).
Specify a name and location, then click Save.
You'll be asked whether you want to save all slides or just the current one. Select 'Every Slide'.
PowerPoint will create a folder in which every slide is saved as a .jpg.
Remark: you can also create a video from the slides:
Select File > Save and Send.
Click Create a Video.
Change the settings if desired.
Click Create Video.
PowerPoint will create a .wmv file that can be played in any media player.

Excellent. Many thanks as usual. Saved me a lot of time and frustration looking at help files and Google!
