How do they get there and how do I modify/delete them? The red blocks above the slides in slide view and the message below the slide too??? Any ideas?

It looks like the blocked out part at the bottom of the slide might be a pointer to someone who can help!
These blocks are probably on the slide master. What version of PowerPoint are you using?
