Create master with two bulleted lists

Post by agibsonsw »

Hello. PowerPoint 2003.

How can I create a slide master that contains two bulleted lists side by side?
I've tried adding a new slide master, and then copy and pasting the bulleted frame from my
original slide master, but it is not editable within the presentation.
Thanks, Andy.

Do you really need a master slide for this? A title plus two bulleted lists is one of the default slide layouts.

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Hello.
Yes the bulleted list is highly modified and we want the second bulleted list to retain this.

As far as I know, you can't add a second text placeholder to a master slide in PowerPoint 2003. This feature was added in PowerPoint 2007.

The workaround is to create a "normal" slide with the exact layout and formatting that you want, but without text, and to copy/paste this slide each time you need a new copy.
When the presentation is finished, you can hide the blank slide so that it won't appear in the slideshow.

I know it's clunky, but it's the best you can do, I fear.
Best wishes,
Hans

Thank you. I suspected this might be the case.
