I created excel charts and paste link them to PowerPoint from my laptop, so the the link is c:\.
If I want to send the excel and PowerPoint to another user so they can update, links are still pointed to my drive c:\
I tried to zip both files also.
Is there a universal way to map the PowerPoint to the users local drive where they saved the excel file?
Does the user have to paste link the charts all over again?

If you place the Excel workbook in the same folder as the PowerPoint presentation, then create the links, the links will work in any other drive and folder, as long as the workbook and presentation are kept together in the same folder.
