I'm not sure how that is done
I tried refreshing links
and RefreshAll
I seen a couple that refered to updates, but they didn't look right

Re: VBA to Save As Macro Enabled Workbook
Do you use code at all to create your custom ribbon, or have you done that manually?
Best wishes,
Hans

Ah - in that case, I don't think you can avoid closing and reopening the workbook; as far as I can tell there is no code you could run to "refresh" the ribbon. Code such as RefreshAll refers to external links and pivot tables, not to the ribbon.
Best wishes,
Hans

Re: VBA to Save As Macro Enabled Workbook
Thank you HansV
I had that feeling I was going to have to close then reopen, as they say "It is what it is"
HansV, Have you by any chance looked at the code I posted today (a couple post earlier)
I was wondering if I positioned the code correctly.

Do you mean the code in Post=8648? That looks OK to me.
Best wishes,
Hans

Re: VBA to Save As Macro Enabled Workbook
Thank you HansV
Yes I was refering to 8648
Cool thank you
I'll just change my message that will reflect the closing of the workbook and for the user to use new icon on desktop to start new report.
Problem solved
