Pivot Table slicer

Post by Vonnie »

Hi,
When in a pivot table and using the slicer option, I would like to only display duplicated data items in the slicer once.

For example, when working with a calendar each month covers at a minimum 1 - 28 At the moment the slicer replicates the numbers for each month, I want it to display just one set of 1 -31.

I have seen an example of this on a calendar, but can't work out how to replicate on my own data.

Thanks Vonnie

Welcome to Eileen's Lounge!

For others reading this thread: slicers are a new feature in Excel 2010.
Best wishes,
Hans

I don't have Excel 2010 myself yet, so I can't give a definitive answer, but from what I've read about slicers, you can't customize what they list (except for specifying a field, of course).
Best wishes,
Hans
