Excel Name Manager (JavaScript edition)
Do you use range names, but are sometimes forced to use Excel on-line? I have good news for you! As of today, you can install my free Name Manager add-in and use it in Excel on-line to create, edit and manage range names! See https://jkp-ads.com/excel-name-manager-js.asp

Re: Excel Name Manager (JavaScript edition)
I'm having trouble extracting these files.
I open the .ZIP file, select all the files, choose extract, provide the pathname I want them to extract to, then click OK. The process appears to complete, but when I look at the destination location there are no files. Strangely, when I repeat the process, a panel appears asking if I want to replace existing files. After replying 'yes to all' the process completes again; yet there are not files listed in that directory when I display it.
I know that at 81 I'm old and losing a step or three, but I can't figure this one out.

Re: Excel Name Manager (JavaScript edition)
Bob, the version mentioned in this thread does not come in a zip file. Did you download the Name Manager add-in for the desktop version of Excel from Name Manager: Range names made easy?
Best wishes,
Hans

Hi Bob,
You downloaded the vba version, which is the most feature rich version. To install, unpack that zip file to any folder. Then right click the Excel files in that folder one by one and choose properties. Check the unblock box. After that, open the setup tool and press the button

To unpack, you can try dragging the files from the zip file to the folder of your preference.
Best wishes,
Hans

Please note that I've updated the tool today. You can get the update by clicking that big red N, and then pressing Control+F5.
