( @ John :- one thing I didn’t show in any of my code lines was that the CDate() might also return some Time info, as Hans and Lisa were playing with . I suppose that might also occasionally result in your initial problem, if the string some how got something in it that caused CDate() to return the additional time info as in your first post screen shot )
