How to add labels to a scatter chart?

Post by Rudi »

Hi,

Is it possible to add the test 1 -5 labels to the points on the scatter chart in the attached sample? If not...how can I simulate the chart as it is shown and include the test labels in the A column on the data points?

You could select each data label in turn and enter a formula in the formula bar. For example, if you select the label for the first point (277,280), you could enter =A2 in the formula bar, and so on for the other points.

An easier solution is to use Rob Bovey's free XY Chart Labeler add-in.
Best wishes,
Hans
