Hello. (Word 2007)
Is there a recommended way to completely remove track changes information?
If track changes is switched off, Word seems to still store previous information
concerning changes. Thanks, Andy.

Re: Removing Track Changes
You can turn track changes on and off without affecting the revisions that have already been tracked.
To accept all the marked revisions in the document go to the Review Ribbon and click on the Accept dropdown (in the Changes group) and select the 'Accept All Changes in Document'.

Re: Removing Track Changes
Thank you. But my question is, how can I completely remove the history of tracked changes? Do they not still
re-appear even though I choose to 'Accept All Changes'? Ta, Andy.

Once you have selected "Accept All Changes" and saved the document, the tracked changes are gone completely.
Best wishes,

Re: Removing Track Changes
Thanks for the welcome Hans, I feel like I've been here before and this new lounge certainly feels more like home than the old digs.
I'm pleased to see your productivity hasn't fallen off with the change of lounge rooms.

Helping in setting up the site and receiving the visitors during the first few weeks has kept me pretty busy!Guessed wrote:I'm pleased to see your productivity hasn't fallen off with the change of lounge rooms.
