Relative Links

Post by ErikJan »

I know this is probably going to be messy but I'm going to try... I looked on the net and find a lot but nothing really simple...

I want to add relative hyper-links in a WORD document...

My WORD-file is in a certain folder (which is variable); however the file "Test.doc" is ALWAYS in that same folder.

So in my WORD document, I should be able to create a (relative) hyperlink to: .\Test.doc

Question: how do I do this and ENSURE this remains to be a relative link? No matter where I move or copy my two documents to?

See if macropod's Relative Paths in Word Fields (All) helps.
Best wishes,

Thanks, implemented. Looks logical and seems to work :-)
