Are themes independent of templates? For example, if I create themes (we have six different themes) using one template can I use it for other templates where they are to be used differently.
For example:
Template A: theme changes the colours on the front cover
Template B: theme changes part colours on front cover, changes bullet colours
Template C: theme change only changes the bullet colours
I think the answer is yes but I thought I would just ask.
Thanks.

Re: Themes and templates
Themes are stored separately, and you can apply one theme to documents and templates in different Office applications, so you can create a consistent look across documents, workbooks and presentations.
I don't think you can use different parts of a theme depending on the document or template though.

Thanks Hans. I will look into it bit more.HansV wrote:Themes are stored separately, and you can apply one theme to documents and templates in different Office applications, so you can create a consistent look across documents, workbooks and presentations.

I will create six different theme files and apply them to different docs as needed. I will come back with more questions if necessary
