Change order of building blocks, Word 2007

Post by Sundog »

I have created a custom table style that I use over and over. It's stored in Insert > Quick Tables > Built-In, but I have to scroll down to get it. Can the order of the Building Blocks in this list be modified, so "my" table would be at the top?

Failing that, I reckon I could create a macro to insert my table, and add the macro to my Quick Access Toolbar.

Custom quick tables will always be listed below the built-in ones

You can assign it to a keyboard shortcut:
- Customize the Quick Access Toolbar.
- Click Customize... next to Keyboard shortcuts at the bottom.
- Select Building Blocks from the Categories list.
- Select your custom Quick Table in the list of Building Blocks.
- Click in the 'Press new shortcut key' box.
- Press the keyboard shortcut that you want to use.
- Click Assign.
Best wishes,
Hans
