TOC comes out right to left, with Hindi (Arabic) page number

Why does my TOC comes out right to left, with Hindi (Arabic) page numbers? Selecting the whole TOC and then pressing ctrl + Q reverts it back to left to right, but then when I update the TOC, it goes back to right to left. Also, how do I get the numbers to show up as Arabic (English) as opposed to Hindi (Arabic) numerals? English is the language that i have the entire document set to, and the TOC is the only place where the Hindi (Arabic) numerals are showing up.

Did the document originate on a PC with an oriental system language? Or did you import text from a document set to an oriental language?

I can't remember which document I was working with when I posted this. I think next time I have this problem with the TOC I will have to revisit this page.
