Print Revision Pane after Document Compare

Post by Sundog »

Using Word 2010, I have Compared two Word documents (Review => Compare => Compare). In the resulting view, the right pane shows the old document with the markup to get to the new document, and the left pane shows "Main document changes and comments," listing all my insertions and deletions. A novice editor would like to use my work to understand what I changed.

It is possible to try to figure this out using the right pane markup, but it's easier if the left pane is there to help. Is there a way to print the Compare document with both the left and right panes? Currently I'm scrolling and taking multiple screenshots.

You can print a list of markup, but I don't think there's a way to print the changes pane together with the document.
Best wishes,
Hans
