Personalization shortcut to ‘show recently opened files…’
I have mentioned to get as far as the personalization screen by the shortcut rundll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL desk.cpl,,2, but would like the shortcut to take me to the next screen, Personalization/Start.
What I really want is a shortcut to be able to toggle ‘show recently opened items…’ in one step. Is this possible? Thank you.

I apologize. This is a Word question.

Re: Personalization Start shortcut
I would like the option to clear the files under Recents. Not eliminate it altogether. To edit the list.
In Files/Options/Advanced, I have zero in ‘show this number of…’ which is ignored.’Remove from this List’ is also meaningless.

Re: Personalization Start shortcut
Select File > Open.
Right-click any of the documents in the list.
Select 'Clear Unpinned Documents' from the context menu.
Confirm.

Re: Personalization Start shortcut
You can also remove items from the list one-by-one.
