Accepting formatting changes
When performing a document comparison, I am getting an enormous number of formatting changes. Is it possible to accept all of them at once and accept them without accepting the substantive changes (e.g., deletions or additions of text) to the document?

Re: Accepting formatting changes
I believe I figured this out:
- In the Review ribbon, Tracking group, Show Markup, ensure that only Show Formatting is checked.
- In the Review ribbon, Changes group, Accept dropdown, click Accept All Changes Shown.

Re: Accepting formatting changes
You can prevent the Compare function from considering any formatting as changes. Click the More button and clear the Formatting check box in the dialog:
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
