Content in cell gets cut off at bottom of page
In my table, there is so much content in a cell that the height of the cell reaches from the top of the page to the bottom and then whatever content does not make it at the bottom of the page gets cut off. How can I get this content to display by having the row break to the next page. I have already tried Table Properties | Row | Allow row to break across page, but it did not work.
Regards,
JMT

Try also the paragraph formatting. Is is set to "keep lines together?" If so, turn that setting off.

Removing Widow/Orphan control did not fix the problem. Are there any other suggestions?

Could you post a copy of the document (without sensitive information)?

If you clear the option to repeat header rows then this will fix the problem. EVEN if you select the first line and then set the option again!

The option Repeat as header row at the top of each page is grayed out for me under Table Properties | Row tab.

Other options:
If I save the document as a .docx instead of a .doc, row 2 breaks across pages.
Or:
1) Select the table.
2) Press Ctrl+H.
3) Enter ^p in the Find What box, and @@@@ in the Replace With box. (@@@@ is just some text that doesn't appear in the document.)
4) Click Replace All. Answer No to the question whether you want to continue outside the selection. Close the dialog.
5) On the Layout tab of the ribbon, click Convert to Text.
6) Make sure that Tabs is selected under "Separate text with", then click OK.
7) With the text still selected, activate the Insert tab of the ribbon, and click Table > Convert Text to Table.
8) Select Tabs under "Separate text at", then click OK.
9) Press Ctrl+H.
10) Enter @@@@ in the Find What box, and ^p in the Replace With box.
11) Click Replace All. Answer No to the question whether you want to continue outside the selection. Close the dialog.
