Labels with consecutive numbers
I have a user who would like to create a page of labels with consecutive numbers 1 - 30. There should be a simple way to do this in Word but I can't think of an easy way to accomplish what she wants to do.

Re: Labels with consecutive numbers
Start the label wizard (Word 2007: activate the Mailings tab of the ribbon, then click Labels; Word 2002/2003: select Tools | Letters and Mailings | Envelopes and Labels..., then activate the Labels tab).
Click Options... to select the type of labels, and click OK when done.
In the Address box, press Ctrl+F9 to insert field braces { }.
Between the braces, type
SEQ A
Press F9 to hide the field code and to update the field value.
Select the option to produce a page full of identical labels.
Click New Document.
You'll probably have to print preview to see the correct numbers.

That worked perfectly and it was so simple.
